Welcome to Normandale Upward Bound! Upward Bound is one of three federally-funded TRiO programs here at Normandale Community College. We are designed to provide academic and personal support to high school students who are from low-income families and who will be the first in their family to attend college. Upward Bound has been hosted by Normandale since 1992.

Mission Statement

"Normandale Upward Bound strives to empower high school students to overcome the socio-economic barriers that seek to prevent them from achieving their educational goals by providing a supportive environment that fosters tolerance, responsibility, determination, respect, and citizenship because we believe that all students can succeed and go to college."
