The Tri-Department at Normandale consists of three disciplines: Dietetic Technology, Exercise Science and Health.

The Normandale Community College Dietetic Technology Program prepares students for full participation in diverse communities as dietetic practitioners. We are committed to experiential and classroom learning, utilizing critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and effective communication skills.

Exercise Science Mission Statement

The mission of the Exercise Science Department is to provide lecture courses based on the science of kinesiology and offer a variety of lifetime physical  activities in proven concepts of wellness and fitness.  The department strives to challenge students with critical thinking and opportunities for self-growth.

Health Department Mission Statement

The Mission of the Normandale Community College Health Department is to provide students with critical thinking skills to evaluate current health issues; while guiding them to take responsibility for their own health; by exploring preventative and complimentary health practices.
