About Us

Student Support Services (SSS) is a program sponsored by Normandale Community College and funded through the U.S. Department of Education. The program assists students by offering a variety of academic, career and transfer services to complement the educational experience, and increase the retention and graduation/transfer rates of eligible students. Services available include:

• Academic advising and class registration assistance
• Convenient walk-in appointments
• Individual support and monitoring
• One-on-one tutoring and supplemental instruction
• College transfer assistance
• Campus visits to four-year colleges
• Financial aid application assistance
• Scholarship and grant opportunities
• Book loan program
• Career exploration assistance
• Social activities, academic workshops and volunteer opportunities
