Working adults can earn credit for life experience
By Adam Pulchinski

Adults out of practice when it comes to school need not fret. NCC has just the program for those adults who have been out of high school for 10 years or more.
The program called PLAN — which stands for Prior Learning Assessment at Normandale — makes it possible for working adults to earn college credit based on what they’ve learned from work and life experiences.

PLAN starts with a two-credit introductory course, PLAN 1030-90 Work/Life Planning, and begins on Feb. 8 in the spring semester.

Those who are interested can call Dennis Peterson at 952-487-8262 or e-mail him at dennis.Peterson@normandale.edu. There is also a free 45-minute discovery
session on Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m. in room C1016.
