Students from Susan Krook’s archeology class eagerly dug their hands into the soft dirt on an excavation trip near Tracy, Minn. Not long afterward, voices yelled out that something was uncovered. “There’s nothing like a dig,” Krook exclaimed as she went to see what her students had discovered.

A new class!
The Vietnam Years, will be available in the spring semester as a Learning Communities class.
Students interested in the class should register for English 1150 (Contemporary Literature), and History 1097 (Historical
Perspectives) under the discipline of “Learning Communities.”
