
Cafeteria staff a hit with students
The cafeteria staff at NCC is so wonderful that seeing their smiling faces makes the cafeteria a less scary place. Many NCC students eat in the cafeteria, but not many know of “Cheeseburger Charlie” Christianson, the awesome Diane Schaefers or Jon Beavors, the head chef.

One Last Test
NCC graduates are above the national average in reading, mathematics, critical thinking and writing/essay, said Tony Dunlop, math instructor and coordinator of the College Assessment of Academic Proficiency test. Students are required to take the CAAP before receiving their NCC degree.

Smoking at NCC
Smoking in the no-smoking area is a growing problem at NCC. Students are breaking the rules and smoking where they are not supposed to.

Play Delayed
There are new dates for the 2006 fall play “Lion in the Winter.”
Due to injuries of a cast member, the play has been pushed back to Wednesday Oct. 25 through Saturday Oct. 28.
There is a matinee at 2 p.m on Oct. 28.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 952-487-7462, or the box office located near the theater (open hours permitting).
