Tone E. Fly and his morning show crew, Miss Shannan, Trey and B-Right, stopped by the campus to round off their Morning Show Back to School Tour.
From 6-10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, Tone E. and his two side kicks, Trey disappeared somewhere, entertained students outside the Kopp Student Center.
Students got to listen to music, the crazy antics of Tone E. and B-Right, sign up for prizes, and be questioned by Tone E., live, on the radio.
The prizes to be won included a brand new laptop, a printer, and a red scooter! One lucky student even won a Good Cop, Bad Cop prize package.
Representatives of the school including Associate Dean, Gail Anderson Cywinski, Dr. Bernardine Bryant, Interim President, Dean of Students, Ralph Anderson, and Geoff Jones, Marketing Communications Director dropped by to welcome the morning show and present the crew with Normandale memorabilia.
Tone E. Fly commented that the students are really friendly and that the college has very positive energy. He liked the fact that the campus was close to the radio station and after sampling some cafeteria food, was thankful of its relative good taste.
Shannan was surprised with the variety of students, and was very fond of the dental hygiene students that stopped and chatted. B-Right said that NCC has a nice campus with a good layout and seems really accessible to students and visitors. He also loved the fact that the cafeteria served Honey Nut Cheerios!
