Parking problems can have a happy ending

While driving around one day last semester, I stopped and picked up a complete stranger. But, he was a handsome guy.

Still, friends that know me would be surprised. On the other hand, any NCC student who has ever searched for a parking spot at school would understand my
desperation.

On this morning in particular, it had taken me an hour and twenty minutes to get to school while having to drive five miles per hour, instead of the usual half-hour commute.

When I finally got here at ten, the front main parking lot was already full. I couldn’t find an empty parking space anywhere.

Actually, I have learned from experience that it’s hard to find a parking spot after 8-9 a.m. anyway, especially during the first few weeks of a new semester.
On this particular day, however, I wanted to give up. I was tired after circling around four times.

But then, I saw a tall, very handsome and well-built guy exit the main school entrance. Since he headed toward the parking lot, I decided to follow him because I wanted his parking space, not because I wanted to stalk him.

Soon after, I rolled down my window and asked him where his car was. He said it was all the way back at the end of the parking lot.

At first, I hesitated because I figured there would be another car waiting to take his spot by the time I got back there. Nevertheless, I rolled down my window again. This time I asked him to get in my car.

Unbelievably, the handsome student got in without any hesitation and without putting up a fight. We were both nice and polite to each other and I don’t think he was afraid either.

In the end, he got a free ride to his car and I got a parking spot. What else could we ask for?

It was a happy ending to the parking problems that started off one new school day. Ooh la la!
