Gandhi's grandson to deliver speech at NCC

Arun Gandhi, the fifth grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, will speak on Friday, March 30 at 2 p.m. in the NCC Auditorium.

Gandhi and his wife Sunanda are the founders of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence. This organization travels the nation giving speeches in an effort to “develop programs that apply the principles of nonviolence locally, nationally, and globally, to prevent violence and resolve personal and public conflicts through education, research and outreach.”

Mahatma Gandhi is the celebrated civil rights leader of India, whose principles of non-violence serve as inspiration for civil rights movements across the globe.
