Team Brent takes 3-on-3 BB title

Team Brent won Normandale’s 3-on-3 basketball tournament this year with a victory over Team Barber.

It only took one game in a double elimination tournament for the champions to be crowned.

Team Brent beat Team Barber in the final game of the tournament. Since Barber lost a game earlier in the tournament, it only took one loss for them to be eliminated in the double- elimination contest.

The prize was a trophy from Rec Sports coordinator Kay Okey for all team members: Tony Dean, Mark Luke, Yasin Jama and  Tyrese Brent. Also included with the trophy were a duffle bag and a movie ticket.

Team Barber, which took second place, consists of Cameron Barber, Chris Berg, Luis Montero and Brad Sutherland.

The winners fought their whole way to the championship game without suffering one loss.
