NCC instructor honored in Book Awards

NCC instructor Alicia Conroy has been named a finalist in the Minnesota Book Awards’ Novel and Short Story category.

Conroy and others were selected as finalists on Jan. 27, by 24 judges from around the state in the 19th annual Book Awards. The winners in each category will be selected on March 10.

A gala will be held on May 5 in downtown St. Paul to honor the winners, which will be emceed by Minnesota Public Radio’s Kerri Miller. Conroy’s book, “Lives of Mapmakers,” is available in the NCC bookstore.
