Anthropology Club learns of DNA origins

Members and faculty of NCC’s Anthropology Club attended a presentation by Spencer Wells, population geneticist, at the Pantages Theatre on Jan. 19 as part of the National Geographic Live! speaker series.
Wells, who leads the the Genographic Project, spoke on his analysis of DNA samples from people all over to world to learn how humans spread from African origins.
“The event was great,” said club president Dawn Whitney.
