RECIPROCITY

RECIPROCITY AGREEMENTS

Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota

Legal residents of Wisconsin, North Dakota or South Dakota may attend a Minnesota public institution and pay a reduced non-resident tuition rate through the tuition reciprocity program.  Applications for reciprocity must be made in the home state of the student.

Applications are available at http://www.mheso.state.mn.us/mPg.cfm?pageID-1288.

Normandale must receive official approval of reciprocity from the student’s home state before the student will be eligible for reciprocity tuition rates.

The student will be assessed the non-resident tuition rate prior to reciprocity approval. Students who are waiting for reciprocity agreements to be approved must pay their full amount of tuition and fees that is owed to Normandale Community College by the established deadlines.  A refund check will be sent to you when the Records Office receives and processes your reciprocity agreement.

Manitoba

Legal residents of Manitoba are eligible to pay Minnesota resident tuition and fees by indicating “Manitoba reciprocity” on their application to Normandale.

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Legal residents of Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, and North Dakota are eligible to pay a reduced non-resident tuition rate through the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP).  Students who wish to take advantage of this program must indicate “MSEP” on their Normandale college application.
