Important News from the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office - Aug 26 2008
Your class schedule must be firm and you should not make any changes after the 5th day of Fall term (August 29th), or you risk aid reductions!! If you decide to add a course after August 29th , your Pell Grant and Minnesota State Grant cannot be adjusted if the total credits increase. If you drop a class and add another class that is the same number of credits after August 29thth , your aid will be negatively affected, as the added course will not be recognized.
If you consider withdrawing from all your Fall classes or you stop attending AFTER your financial aid has been disbursed and before the 60% point of the term which you are attending, you may owe a significant amount of money back to the aid programs and Normandale. Talk to the Business Office staff to determine what you would owe PRIOR to withdrawing or not attending.
