LINKS to ARTICLES and INFORMATION

An excellent short biography by Dick Parker about Bob DeFlores and his passion for film collection has been published in the July 2008 issue of the online Mississippi Rag magazine. Since 1973, the Mississippi Rag has covered traditional jazz and ragtime.

Dick Parker, DeFlores FIlm Project Coordinating Team member and local musician, wrote an article about the DeFlores Film Project for the Twin Cities Jazz Society's CODA.  "Bob DeFlores Films Being Linked to Today's Memories  appears on page 2 of the October 2007 CODA issue.

Evelyn Cottle Raedler's Legacy for Learning article appeared in the Spring 2008 issue of the Normandale Community College Foundation's Creating Futures magazine.  Interviews with Bob DeFlores, Carol Heen, Tom Trow, Aaron Moe, and Mary Krugerud explain how this private film collection has been made available exclusively to Normandale for development at an educational resource.

The Council for Resource Development's Region V newsletter featured the project and the Big Band Treasures  program on the second page of its May 2008 issue.
