College Readiness ProgramThe College Readiness Program (CRP) exists at Normandale Community College to serve students placing into pre-college level courses. Students who place into READ 0860 or 0960 and either ENGC 0800 or 0900 or MATH 0500 are automatically in the College Readiness Program. While in the College Readiness Program, students must see a counselor before registering for classes. The counselors will help students select courses in which they will have a better chance of success. Once a student has completed the reading requirements and NCC 1000 class, the student will be released from the College Readiness Program. Students in the College Readiness Program are encouraged to use the resources of the Academic Support Center. They may also meet with staff to discuss study tips and techniques. Walk in hours are available for College Readiness Program students each semester, or appointments can be made by contacting Jim Sutton at 952-487-7407 or Jim.Sutton@Normandale.edu.
