What do you like most about being a Counselor at Normandale?
     The opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of others.

If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming Normandale student, what would it be?
     "Seek the Far Horizon."

What are your professional areas of interest?
     Life planning, transitions, and self management skills.

Where did you grow up and what is your favorite childhood memory?
     I grew up in LaCrescent, MN. My favorite childhood memory is hiking to the top of Eagle's Bluff, looking down on my home town and the Mississippi River Valley. The view was spectacular and stretched for over 50 miles. I could see three states (Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa) all at once.

What are your interests or hobbies?
     Collecting baseball cards and old coins, cooking, attending (classic) rock concerts and hiking and cross-country skiing.
