What do you like most about being a Counselor at Normandale?
     I love the incredible diversity of students here. I enjoy helping students better understand the educational process and how that relates to their academic goals.

If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming Normandale student, what would it be?
     "Enjoy learning new things as you pursue your educational goal. Try something new that is outside your comfort zone."

What are your professional areas of interest?
     Transfer advising and career development.

Where did you grow up and what is your favorite childhood memory?
     Having grown up on a farm in northwest Iowa, I have wonderful memories of enjoying the uniqueness of each season. I also participated in the annual Tulip Festival as a Dutch Dancer!

What are your interests or hobbies?
     Foreign films and international music.
