What do you like most about being a Counselor at Normandale?
     Our students represent a diversity of backgrounds and have a variety of goals. Everyday is a new challenge and an opportunity to assist students in meeting their educational, career, and/or personal goals.

If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming Normandale student, what would it be?
     "Study! Study some more! Study more than that!!"

What are your professional areas of interest?
     Assisting new immigrant students in their transition to college, transfer advising, returning adult students.

Where did you grow up and what is your favorite childhood memory?
     Though I grew up in Milwaukee, my favorite memories are of spending time with my cousins on their farm in central Wisconsin: feeding chickens, playing in the hay barn, and wading in the creek.

What are your interests or hobbies?
     International travel, cultural offerings in the Twin Cities, cross-country skiing.
