Description:
BUSN 2424 Spreadsheet
Analysis 3 CR, FALL, SPRING Further development of spreadsheet
skills using Excel 97 for Windows. Emphasizes
worksheet formatting, formula design, @ functions, macro commands, using smart icons,
graphic and presentation quality printing. Same as CAPL 2424
III. Recommended Skills: BUSN 1200. It is assumed that students entering the class can use Windows for
essential file management tasks (reading a directory, formatting a disk, copy, delete,
and renaming files) and to launch an application. It is also assumed that students have had prior experiences planning,
designing, creating, editing, printing, saving, and retrieving spreadsheets using
Lotus 1-2-3 (DOS or Windows), Excel, Quatro, Works, or another commercial spreadsheet.

VII. Special Information: The text is an excellent resource. You are expected to work with it while you are
in front of the computer. Part of our class
time will be devoted to hands-on application. In addition, it is expected that students will spend time outside of
class working on the assignments. Normandale
has an excellent computer facility for your use. Excel Version 5.0 is available in the open lab. You may have an opportunity to access these programs
on a home or work computer. That is great!
